Igor Kipnis's Liner Notes for the RCA LP "Alexander Kipnis S
In 1961, Igor Kipnis wrote liner notes for an upcoming LP that RCA was about to issue of his father singing Russian songs and arias. Igor's liner notes were never used even though the album was released. (It has since been released in modified form by Preiser Records.) We recently discovered a copy of the original version of these notes as written by Igor and we are making them available to you as a download.

We are pleased to share this scan of a program for a recital that Alexander Kipnis performed in four cities in New Zealand in 1938. He and pianist Noel Newson presented this ambitious program in Wellington, Dunedin, Christchurch and Auckland.
